Covid-19 Safety Measures

I want to take a minute to offer insight on how I am handling the Covid-19 Pandemic, with regards to production.  It frequently comes up when discussing VogueBooge and its roots, that I have a background in cosmetics.  My previous experience managing an FDA regulated, cosmetics contract manufacturer required extensive knowledge in sanitary filling.  This correlates with our current Covid-19 Pandemic, as I have already incorporated safe production methods in my manufacturing process.  Why does this matter in the production of candles?  While the answer may be obvious, I want you to feel completely comfortable in receiving, opening and burning your VogueBooge candles.  In addition to basic safe manufacturing principles (such as washing your hands in soap and water before proceeding), we also do the following:

1. Sanitize with Isopropyl Alcohol -  All of the shop's production surfaces are Stainless Steel which is routinely (before, during and after production) wiped down with Isopropyl Alcohol.  

2. Place all accepted raw materials in Quarantine for 2 weeks prior to use in production - This time period is to allow raw materials storage time to clear of any contaminants they may have been exposed to in shipping.  Additionally, my raw material providers have implemented safe handling procedures at their plants.

3. Our current inventory was all manufactured in February.  Any orders placed now will be filled from that stock.  Moving forward, all production will come from raw materials that will have gone through quarantine - if not purchased prior to March 1st.

4. Completed items produced upcoming (as well as any items being shipped) will receive an alcohol wipe before being shipped or sold directly.  Since most orders are being hand delivered or shipped, we will also be placing them in sealed plastic, air-tight bags for your security.
